IETF: making the Internet work better

The IETF is the principal body engaged in the development of the standards for the Internet. However its mission goes beyond just standardisation: it is to produce high quality, relevant technical and engineering documents that influence the way people design, use, and manage the Internet in such a way as to make the Internet work better. This presentation will explain the main principles of the IETF, its standard development process as well as its relationship with other organisations that are part of the Internet ecosystem.
